Pursuit MMA is a MMA gym based in Norristown, PA combining MMA training with a faith focus for life.
Pursuit MMA derives our name from Hebrews 12: 1-2 which says “let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” The image of running after Christ in pursuit of HIS WAY-running in the path He set for us is what drives Pursuit MMA. Pursuit MMA is a combination Bible study, discipleship time, and MMA gym which aims to engage in the pursuit of athletic achievement while putting the emphasis on the most important pursuit anyone can involved in-the pursuit of our faith.
Pursuit MMA is currently on hiatus and is not actively meeting for training at this time.
Pursuit MMA gym members have participated in amateur tournaments in eastern PA and NJ since June 2014. These tournaments have included MMA, kickboxing, Muay Thai and grappling.
